After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Dr. Nesson began her career in New York City. Inspired by her physician father and introduced to audiology by a close family friend who was an ENT, she discovered her calling.

Dr. Nesson went on to earn her Doctorate in Audiology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, following studies at Hunter College. Her education and early clinical experiences solidified her belief that hearing care is about more than technology; it’s about restoring confidence, connection, and quality of life.

A Personal Understanding of Hearing Loss

For Dr. Nesson, helping others hear better is deeply personal. She’s fit hearing aids for her own family members, including her grandmother, whose hearing restoration brought joy and connection back into her daily life. These moments remind Dr. Nesson that she chose audiology to make a tangible, lasting impact on people and families through better hearing health.

As Founder of Tinnitus Doctors of New Jersey, Dr. Nesson combines advanced audiologic care with a compassionate, patient-first philosophy. She takes pride in helping patients find relief from tinnitus and hearing loss using evidence-based treatments and innovative technology. Watching each patient reconnect with their world is what makes her work so rewarding.
