Dr. May earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Loyola University Maryland, where she built a strong foundation in communication science and auditory health. She went on to complete her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) at Nova Southeastern University, a program known for its rigorous academic and clinical training.

As part of her doctoral studies, Dr. May completed her residency at New York Hearing Doctors, where she gained hands-on experience working with a diverse patient population. This experience allowed her to refine her diagnostic and rehabilitative skills under the mentorship of experienced audiologists.

A Compassionate and Patient-Centered Approach

Before becoming a Doctor of Audiology, Dr. Jules May spent years as a dedicated figure skater. After experiencing firsthand the impact of sports injuries, Dr. May gained a deep appreciation for the healthcare professionals who helped her recover, inspiring her to pursue a career that would allow her to help others improve their own quality of life.

This journey from athlete to audiologist taught her the importance of perseverance and empathy, values she brings to every patient interaction. Today, Dr. May is proud to serve patients throughout New Jersey as part of Tinnitus Doctors of New Jersey. She is passionate about guiding each patient toward better hearing and lasting relief from tinnitus, using evidence-based methods and state-of-the-art hearing technology.
